Save Ohio Parks is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization founded by Ohio citizens to protect our state parks, wildlife areas, and public lands from oil and gas extraction. We help Ohioans file public comments and contact state officials to express their opposition to fracking public lands and support for clean energy. Donations to Save Ohio Parks are not tax deductible but go entirely to fund program expenses. Our board members volunteer their time and efforts for this work.
Our sister 501(c)(3) organization, Save Ohio Parks Education Fund, provides public education about fracking public lands and associated issues such as data centers and frack waste disposal. Donations there are tax deductible and can be made through donor advised funds, brokerage accounts, or by sending a check to P.O. Box 1112, Hilliard, OH 43026.
