Salt Fork town hall to discuss fracking and more

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, a newly formed group, Concerned Citizens of Ohio, will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge. The meeting will be in the Grand Ballroom located at the lodge at 14755 Cadiz Road, Lore City, Ohio 43755 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss several related topics including wild birds of Ohio, energy production in Ohio, fracking, and climate change.

Attendees are encouraged to register in advance so we can keep you apprised of news and updates. Register here: bit.ly/saltforktownhall

The town hall will be conducted open meeting/open forum style. Any person who desires to speak may do so for a reasonable amount of time. Thoughtful, prepared, and concise speech is encouraged so as many speakers as possible may be heard.

There will be no featured speaker, but elected officials, environmental groups, and energy representatives are encouraged to speak.

No food service in the ballroom is planned at this time, but food will be available at the lodge’s restaurant (Timbers) as well as the Wildlife Lounge adjacent to the ballroom.

You, or a representative of your organization, is cordially invited to attend. If attendance is not possible, we would appreciate a short video or informational materials about your group and projects that could be on display and available to the public during the meeting.

Hope to see you there. Thank You!
Concerned Citizens of Ohio
